The Amazing Bag-man Suit

Spidey's Amazing Bag-Man Suit
The Bag man Spiderman suit first appeared on Amazing SPIDER-MAN #258.

Spidey heads around to the Fantastic Four building, so that Reed Richards can have a look at his new black costume, which has been acting a bit strangely. When it turns out to be an alien symbiote, they remove it post-haste, leaving Peter with nothing to protect his secret identity. The Human Torch Johnny Storm kindly lent Spidey an old Fantastic Four costume, with a brown paper bag for a mask and a "Kick Me" sign on the back.

Peter Parker has a lot of Spiderman costumes, and this is one of the funniest and memorable costumes that Spider-man wore.

Spider-Man Black Suit/Symbiote Suit

Spiderman comic book covers
Amazing Spider-Man #252 and Secret Wars
The Spiderman Black Suit/Symbiote Suit is probably the most popular variation of all spiderman costumes. It first introduced in Amazing Spider-Man #252 and famously appears again in the hugely popular Secret Wars crossover event. The costume is black, has a large white spider design on the chest area, slightly larger eye pieces and white organic web-shooters on the back of each hand.

The suit has been a fan favorite for years and will occasionally make an appearance from time to time, but mainly used for stealthy missions as it’s actually an alien symbiote that attaches itself to Peter Parker and mimics his abilities as Spider-Man. In Spider-Man 3, the symbiote attaches to Peter's bike early in the film. Later on, the symbiote covers his entire suit while he is asleep in the original red and blue costume. Much later in the movie, Peter takes off the symbiote, and as Eddie Brock is watching, gets engulfed by the symbiote to become Venom.

Iron Spider-Man Costume

Iron Spiderman

The Iron Spider costume was first given by Iron Man as a gift to Peter Parker. After Spiderman got rid of the Iron Spider costume and went back to his classic red and blue costume, the Red Team aka the Scarlet Spiders put this costume on.

The default look for this costume is a metallic red skin-tight suit covering the entire body with eyepieces, spider-legs, and a spider symbol on the chest, all in gold.

The fabric of the costume is a liquid nano-fiber that can more or less disappear when needed. Three spider-legs in the back can pick things up and works as pseudo fingers; they also have cameras that can be display images in the costume's eyepieces. The spider-legs are all hidden in the costume's golden circle part in the back and can be deployed simply by mental command. The suit can adjust to mimic background colors or other Spider-Man suit patterns as well as turning Spider-Man invisible.

Collection of Scarlet Spider-Man Suits

When Peter Parker still had dibs on the Spider-Man identity but Ben Reilly wanted to do some web-swinging of his own, the Scarlet Spider was born. His first appearance is in Web of Spider-Man #118, and then the identity of the Scarlet Spider has been used by several characters: Peter Parker (while Ben posed as him in prison), Joe Wade, a group of three Michael Van Patrick clones working with the Initiative, and Kaine.

The Scarlet Spiderman Costume was designed by Tom Lyle. With some new colors and a Scarlet Spider hoodie over the classic superhero spandex suit, Ben took his design to the streets. His spider symbol goes on the front & the back, not straight up & down like Spider-Man's symbol, but rather angled to the left as it's worn. Short-lived though it may have been, the Scarlet Spider duds still stand as a bold take on the iconic Scarlet Spider costume.

Many Looks of Spider-Man 2099

Spider-Man 2099 (Miguel O'Hara) is one of the many future versions of classic superheroes living in the year 2099, a century after the current Marvel Universe time period. Miguel O'Hara the Spider-Man of the future.
Spider-Man 2099

The original Spider-Man 2099 suit is similar to classic Spider-Man's suit, but with a more skull-like spider and more blue throughout. Miguel chooses this costume in particular because it is the only clothing he has that is made from Unstable Molecule Fabric which invented by Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four, so that it will not be torn or shred by the spider-talons that now occupy his hands and feet. Spiderman 2099 costume also has a small, web-like airfoil attached to the back of his costume. The material for the air foil allows Spider-Man 2099 to limited gliding abilities, shift direction while in free fall and is very good at slowing down his descent.

Why Do I Love Spider-Man Sooooo Much?

A friend asked me why do you love spider-man so much, wow, I have tons of reasons, but here are major reasons:

1. Spider-Man is the definition of what "a hero" should be like. Not Captain America, not Superman and not Batman. At fifteen he gained immense powers and lost his beloved uncle who gave him the creed of “with great power comes great responsibility”. In his early twenties he has been fighting evil people for no reason but to do the right thing. He should have killed some of his foes but he has not. He should be financially secure from busting drug dealers, mobsters, mad scientist, and hit men but he holds down low paying jobs to stay honorable. To me Spiderman sets the bar for respect.

2. He never gives up. Whenever he's down and out, Peter always comes back better than he was before. No matter how many broken bones or scars he has, he will not give up. Sure, you could say that about other heroes, but Spider-Man is not Thor or the Hulk. He's not on their level, and yet he will fight guys that give 'em trouble.

3. Spider-Man is the champion of the little guy. He is not rich or cool as Batman; he doesn’t have powers as strong as Superman's powers, Hulk's powers, Iron Man's powers, or Thor's powers. Unlike them, Peter Parker is just a guy whose life sucks. But even though he doesn't have fame, power, or money, he still tries to protect people to the best of his abilities. While Superman and Thor were destined to be great heroes, Spidey reached their level of heroism through hard work, willpower, and courage.
4. Spider-Man is a character that is constantly evolving. Spider-Man comics tell the story of a regular person as he slowly evolves into a hero. He doesn't start out perfect but becomes perfect overtime. That is an idea I like a lot.
5. He is probably the most "lovable" superhero character. He’s the funniest in the comic book world, and his jokes always deliver. It’s also funny to watch him try to look up to all the "big superheroes" and not realize that he's a much better hero and person than they ever will be.
6. He also has the best costume ever, especially his mask--very iconic.

The clothes make the man, and Peter Parker the Spider-Man has the most memorable costumes in comic book history since 1962. He got his unique look from Steve Ditko, and over the years more suits from artists and even fans around the world. This Web-Slinger switches it up every now and again, and some would argue that a couple of his alternate suits outshine the original red and blue suit.
Here I listed my top ten Spiderman suits of all time, hope you enjoy!

The “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” suit has been revealed and what impressed were the much bigger white colored eyes. But I found some alternate designs for the first amazing spider-man movie, I think they are much interesting. The New “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” Suit

The new “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” suit was revealed recently, and the movie is currently filming, it comes out on May 2, 2014.

Andrew Garfield’s in his new Spiderman suit looks great. The costume features much bigger white colored eyes, which get definitely new eye shape comparing to the first amazing spiderman suit, and metallic-like mesh, gnarly web shooters throughout. Spider-Man looks as cool as ever.
